BLINDFOLD RIDE ON MOTOR BIKE
suraj | 17 October, 2008 9:39It was 24th of Sept. Akash's blindfolded ride was scheduled to happen on 24 Sept in
Thiruvananthpuram. I was one of the volunteer who were riding with Akash. We were following Akash.
It was not just a stunt but it was done to give message to all motorists to drive safely and follow
traffic rules. Akash blindfolded ride started at 11 AM.The men from Jadugar Anand group rode on
separate motorbikes.Akash was blindfolded with a piece or cardboard, cotton and plaster of paris cut
in the shape of an eye glass – held together with a band of black cloth wrapped over.Before
starting, a hood was placed over his face.We all volunteers rode alongside the Akash.It was amazing
to watch him make the correct turns and curves.Blind folded Akash even adjusted speeds and applied
brakes to avoid potholes and collision with other vehicles. He complete whole blindfolded ride with
a ease. After completing his blindfolded ride he said that this unusual skill of his is a
combination of tricks, meditation and concentration. I was lucky to get a chance to volunteer such a
daring stuntmen who does his stunt not for publicity but for a cause.
